MG14 NSW State Titles - Teralba - Oct 17/18, 2020
Congratulations to 'WATER RAT' 385 - Rohan & Charlie Nosworthy for taking out the 2019/20 NSW MG14 State Titles.
After an extremely tight battle for the title, tied coming into the last race and which was only decided in the last tack to the finish, in 2nd place was 'CARBON NEUTRAL' 395 - Hugh Tait and Marshall Day.
In 3rd place, showing some exceptional upwind kite carrying skills(!), was 'WET N WILD' 352 sailed by Matthew Rhys-Jones and Morgan York
The Handicap Trophy State Champion was BALLISTIC 430 - Jordan Roberts carrying Geoff Davis around the course.
2nd Overall on Handicap, with a very creditable 3rd place on scratch in the last race, were juniors SFM BEAST 360 - Bezi Saunders and Lauren Jamieson from Northbridge.
3rd place on Handicap was 363 JET STREAM - John Caley and Isaac Bow.

The MG14 NSW State Championship series to be held 17-18 October at Teralba Amateur Sailing Club.
Ample grassy rigging space, great club and facilities.
TASC note to competitors:
On arrival in the first instance complete covid register in the upstairs of the club
Place lunch orders
MG14 will have their own dedicate sign on/off outside in the front of the club
Saturday – SAUSAGE SIZZLE after sailing $2
Saturday and Sunday after sailing, food and drink will be available for purchase from the Canteen. This can be consumed within the club with all patrons being seated.
Saturday racing:- being ‘HYDRATED’ water bottles will be available from the support boats – pay later.
Sail time to start line – up to 20 minutes
Change rooms are not available for ‘sail clothes’ changing- as an alternative be creative.
A necessary special note regarding Covid. If a competitor has a concern regard a covid hotspot in the locality of their abode consideration should be given to not attending.
